innovation in a space that is probably the most outdated industry in the world..as creepy as it can be, this is a pretty cool product. count on the dutch to rethink the box we all end up in. coffins for everybody..shows you can add creativity to any business..

...I really like this idea since I, likely along with many other people, have gone through the pains of getting group gifts..could also have a lot more uses for the service than colelcting money for birthday presents!

new rising from the old :: hearst tower

norman foster's new building is the latest addition to nyc's skyline..

I saw this building a while ago when it was still under construction (and looking like a giant mess) and it looked almost ridiculously too large and grandiose for its base..

interesting that the original building (you can sort of see it at the foot of this new structure) built in 1928, was meant to have a tower on top of it, but the Depression put a kink into that plan..might have been a blessing in disguise..

..this is getting some good press lately - - fader magazine is putting their latest issue (summer music 2006) on itunes a week before it hits newsstands..

when you think about it it's not that revolutionary, but hey, no one's done it yet! nice work!
