Some notes on cool new things happening..

- Everyday Spa by Whole Foods Market - eat healthy food and then treat your body to a spa treatment! Makes sense..via pfsk.com

- zyb - you can store and manage all your phone numbers etc online! Didn't work with my phone but then again, these things usually don't make it to canadiana until a few years later..

- conceptshare.com these guys presented at democamp a while back - looks like it's launched now - good for design - I want to know if it can be used to collaborate on business models and how you can get outside panels to contribute - great idea..

- Iranian Typography - very cool designs done by Iranian graphic designers - via pingmag.jp

look at your house online!

this is very much like A9 maps that I wrote about in Dec of '05 (has it been that long??? these maps no longer exist for some reason) -- now this is available in Toronto!

walk along the store fronts of Toronto streets with virtualcity and try to find your house. I like the potential of this service to work with local businesses for content (would be cool to see the menu of a restaurant that catches my eye on the site), or even pair it up with a parking information or GPS services. nice work!

re-usable paper..

Xerox is apparently developing paper that can let you create temporary documents! The print fades after about 24 hours! Very cool and let's hope it happens (wonder if paper mills will freak out and do the same thing industry did to EV1). Hopefully this means all the presentations printed out and not used can be put back into the printer - they just have to come up with a way to make used, wrinkled paper look nice and new again - a paper iron perhaps? Don't think so...
